Are Procana Hemp/CBD products legal?
Yes, Procana Hemp derived products are legal to ship to all 50 states. The United States Farm Bill of 2014 classified Industrial Hemp as containing less than 0.3% THC by dry weight. Procana products contain less than 0.3% THC. The final ruling of the 9th Circuit Federal Court (DEA vs. Hemp Industry Association in 2004), ruled in favor of the HIA concluding that the substances from Industrial Hemp are excluded from the definition of marijuana under 21 U.S.C 802 (16)- as “non-psychoactive hemp” and not classified under the Controlled Substances Act (CSA).

Are Cannabis products legal?

What are Cannabinoids?

What is CBD?
CBD (cannabidiol) is the main prominent molecule out of the 80+ cannabinoids found in either Agricultural Hemp or Cannabis. CBD is non-pyschoactive, unlike its THC counterpart and plays a vital role in holistic applications.

What is the difference between Hemp & Cannabis?
The difference come down to 1) Appearance 2) Chemical Makeup 3) Cultivation Environment. Hemp and cannabis are grown for different uses, and therefore require different growing conditions. Cannabis contains high levels of THC, whereas, Hemp contains little to no trace of the psychoactive chemical and is not classified under the Controlled Substances Act (CSA).

What are terpenes?

Which Procana product is best for me?
Each individuals Endocannabinoid system varies along with the number of cannabinoids and receptors. We suggest start with the lowest dosage and work your way up if needed. Observe the side effects and if necessary adjust the ratio or amount.

Where are your raw materials sourced from?
Our Hemp seed oil is sourced from Canada and our Hemp/CBD is sourced from Europe within the Czech Republic. Currently Europe is the leading producer of Hemp and importing these certified materials through customs

What is your extraction method?
We use CO2 extraction. This method uses carbon dioxide under high pressure and extremely low temperatures to isolate, preserve, and maintain the purity of the oil.

Does Procana test for pesticides?
Yes, we have a Certification of Analysis for each softgel, plus a chromatograph.

What are your products shelf life?
The shelf life of all our products is about 18 months.
